Having purchased a tired old chalet a stones throw from Polzeath beach, our client approached us to design, gain planning consent and construct a prestigious contemporary new home in this desirable seaside location in North Cornwall.

With an unusual ‘roughly triangular’ plot with rising topography, we were instructed to design a beautiful, contemporary house which maximised on the potential of the plot and took into account the change in height of the land and local context. With this undertaken, to then seek planning consent with a view to constructing our client’s forever home in sunny Polzeath…
our approach
With careful consideration of the site and local building context, and through liaison with our client over design evolution, we are currently preparing to submit the planning application taking care of all the requirements for supporting information and evidence. Once planning consent is achieved, we will then prepare all the required Building Regulations drawings, structural calculations, build specification & other pre-start requirements in readiness for commencing construction of this beautiful, contemporary new home.
